QUESTIONNAIRE RELATED TO AIR TRANSAT
QUESTIONS RELATED TO THE FLIGHT BOOKING
Q1. How to book the flights?
Ans1. Book low fares to destinations around the world and find the latest deals on airline tickets at www.airtransat.com
Q2. What are the steps for booking a flight?
Ans2. You can book a flight by going to the Air Transat Official Site or the app. Steps are:
- Select your origin and destination & travel date
- Select the number of passenger
- Click on search flight
- Select the price and time from the given option
- Click on “book” button
- Enter the passenger’s details and make your payment
- You will get a confirmation email.
Q3. What are fare types?
Ans3. There are two main types of fares, published airfares and unpublished airfares.
Q4. What are economy class flights?
Ans4. Economy class is another term for the flight’s main cabin, as opposed to premium cabins like business class and first class. Sometimes referred to as coach class, economy class typically makes up the bulk of the seating on a flight.
Q5. Is Air Transat Premium Economy worth it?
Ans5. YES! The seats, the food and the personalised service make it very much worth it in my opinion. Option Plus is a great way to make an economy flight a little more comfortable. But if you’re going to splash a little more, it’s much more worth it to upgrade to Club.
Q6. What does option plus mean on Air Transat?
Ans6. Option Plus includes 1 x checked bag and 10kg carry-on, priority airport services, complimentary standard seat selection, welcome drink (sparkling wine), One complimentary snack & alcoholic drink during the flight, and an on-board comfort kit (includes a blanket, headphones & neck pillow).
Q7. What is Air Transat Eco Flex?
Ans7. Eco Flex lets passengers choose any seat in Economy Class, depending on availability: standard seat, two-by-two seat, front of cabin seat or seat with more legroom. 7 Priority check-in, queue at security checkpoints (at Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, Manchester, London Gatwick and Glasgow airports) and baggage handling.
Q8. How to cancel your nonrefundable ticket and still not lose the price value?
Ans8. You can avail this benefit after reading the fine print. Cancel for Any Reason (CFAR) is a non-compulsory benefit. But, there is a supernumerary fee attached to it. CFAR is again the optional benefit and is available during the first 21 days of your first trip or maybe less, and for this to happen, it is always necessary that you must have your travel completely insured. You need to check with your Air Transat flight cancellation policy.
Q9. Can you get a refund on your basic economy ticket?
Ans9. It is unfortunate that the basic economy ticket cannot be cancelled or changed after 24 hours of time has elapsed. If 24 hours are over, you are not going to receive the complete price value of your Air Transat ticket, and this is going to be a completely despicable position.
Q10. Are there any frequent flyer miles on your air journey?
Ans10. Not every and not many flights flying out there offer you flyer miles. At times, you are not going to earn any rewards on frequent flyer miles. Make sure you check out with the Air Transat booking system and double check you have got precise date and time available on your flight. Maybe you have the lucky chance where you are offered the frequent flyer miles plus everything else.

Q5. How do I redeem my travel credit for a new booking?
Ans5. If you received a travel credit for a cancelled Transat package, you could now redeem it online when booking a new package on transat.com thanks to our self-service feature.
