Ans1. Yes, Allegiant welcomes domestic dogs and cats to travel with you in the cabin.

Q2.Can I travel with my pet, a personal item and a paid carry-on?
Ans2. TSA regulations limit each passenger to a maximum of 2 items carried on the aircraft. A passenger may travel with a pet and a personal item or a paid carry-on, but not both. The extra item will be checked, transported in the cargo area and checked fees are applicable.

Ans3. Yes

Q4. Is there a fee to bring a pet in the cabin?

Q5. Are vouchers redeemable at allegiant.com?
Ans5. Yes, vouchers can be redeemed on the last page of the booking process. Select the link labeled ‘Do you have an Allegiant Voucher or Promo Code?’ to enter the voucher number and click Apply. The next box will expand to add the email address associated with the voucher.

Q6. Can I use multiple vouchers on the same reservation?
Ans6. Yes, you can use multiple vouchers when making a new reservation. Credit can be applied online as a form of payment at check out. Look for a link labeled ’Apply an Allegiant Voucher’ on the payment page. Enter your voucher number and click ‘Apply Voucher.’ Then enter the email address associated with each voucher. You may then add the next voucher.

Q7. Can I use my voucher to book a hotel or car rental?
Ans7. Yes, a credit voucher may be used to add a hotel reservation or car rental to any existing or new reservation that includes airfare.

Q8. Do I need to be the one traveling with my voucher?
Ans8.No, you are welcome to use your voucher to book travel anywhere that Allegiant flies for any of your friends or family. When applying the voucher online, enter the same email address in the payment portal that is associated with the voucher.

Q9. Does this my voucher need to be used on the same route/s that it was issued from?
Ans9. No, your voucher can be used on any route that Allegiant offers. In addition to air travel, you can use your voucher to add a hotel, car rental, bags, seat assignments, or Priority Access to any existing reservation or a new reservation that includes airfare.

Q2. Can Allegiant book travel for groups?
Ans2. You may book up to nine (9) passengers on a single itinerary. To book ten (10) or more passengers, multiple reservations are needed to accommodate all travelers.

Q3. Can I book a reservation for another person?
Ans3. Yes. When you are booking a ticket for another person on the Web site, fill out his/her information in the travelers details section. Then, when you are prompted to check out, on the payment page of the Web site, simply enter your debit or credit card number, name, billing address, and phone number.

Q4. Can I purchase additional bags if I get a bundle?
Ans4. Yes, you can add bags later during the booking process. Additional baggage fees will apply.

Q5.Can Trip Flex be added to existing reservations?
Ans5. No. Trip Flex must be purchased at the time of booking.

Q6. Can we purchase our tickets at the airport?
Ans6. Travelers are advised to book in advance through the Allegiant Air Web site or customer call center. Airline tickets for same day travel may be purchased at the airport ticket counter based on availability. Airport ticket counter hours are limited and vary by location.

Q7. Can I bring my own alcohol onboard?
Ans7. No, you may not bring your own alcohol on board. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) requires any alcohol consumed onboard be purchased through and served by an Allegiant In-flight crew member.

Q8. Do you serve food and drinks on your flights?
Ans8. Yes! For your convenience, Allegiant offers a variety of sodas, juices, alcoholic beverages, snacks and merchandise onboard every flight for purchase with a credit card. Allegiant utilizes the “Blocking” method to ensure disability seating accommodations are met.

Q4. I’m pregnant; will I have to purchase two seats?
Ans4.A woman who is pregnant will not necessarily need to occupy two seats if she can lower the armrest.

Q6. Will I need to purchase an extra seat if I am a passenger of size?
Ans6. Allegiant’s mission and responsibility per our Contract of Carriage is to provide safe and comfortable air transportation for every customer.
The airline seats measure 17.8″ from inside of armrest to inside of armrest. Passengers who are unable to lower the armrest and/or compromise any portion of adjacent seat(s) should purchase an additional ticket during the initial reservation. Two seats will be pre-assigned (at no additional charge) in order to ensure the passenger of size has two seats side-by-side. If on the date of travel, a passenger of size requests a second ticket, the agent will be unable to sell a second ticket unless two seats are available side-by-side. In the event the flight is sold out and an extra seat is unavailable, the passenger of size shall be denied travel in the interest of safety.

Q7. How is it possible that my flight was canceled or diverted due to weather when the weather looks fine?
Ans7. Even though the local weather may indeed appear to be fine, it could be the case that weather conditions at the destination airport, along the route, or at higher altitudes may not be suitable for flying.

Q8. How is it possible that my flight was delayed due to weather when other planes are taking off?
Ans8. Typically, delays occur due to aircraft type and weather conditions along the flight path or at the destination, which means that every airline’s schedule might be impacted differently.

Q9. My flight has been canceled. What do I do?
Ans9. In the unfortunate event of a flight cancellation, you have the following two options.

  • Log in to Manage Travel to change to different flight dates, to/from the same city pairs, for no difference in fare
  • Log in to Manage Travel to cancel your remaining flight segments for a refund of the unflown segment(s)of travel
  • If you choose not to do anything, Allegiant will automatically cancel your itinerary in 72 hours and issue a refund for the full value paid back to your original form of payment.

Q10. What time should I arrive at the airport if my flight is delayed?
Ans10. Passengers on a delayed flight are advised to arrive at the airport at least (2) two hours before the original scheduled departure time.

  1. If weather conditions improve ahead of schedule, or alternate aircraft become available, it may be possible to shorten the delay time of a flight. When this happens, the plane could depart earlier than the posted delay time, and cannot wait for passengers who are not at the departure gate.
  2. So that we can advise you of departure/arrival time changes, be sure to include your traveler contact information (mobile phone, email) at the time of booking.
  3. Otherwise, visit Flight Status to check the latest departure and arrival times and to sign up for Flight Status Alerts on your mobile phone if your flight is changed.
