How can I cancel my reservation?

Here are the following request that you need to follow while canceling a Spirit flight online –

On the Spirit Airlines official site, choose the Manage My Booking button to cancel your ticket.
Mention your last name and flight reference code on the required fields.
Once your itinerary details appear on the screen, choose the flight you want to cancel online.
Now hit the next button.
After applying for flight cancellation, you can also fill an online refund request form.
Go to the payment page and, if asked, pay the flight cancellation fees. The cancellation penalty will entirely be based on Spirit Airlines cancellation policy.
Confirm your flight cancellation request after reviewing the changes you made to your itinerary.
You will receive mail regarding your canceled flight status from the customer care team.

To access your flight, select My Trips
On the next page, enter your last name and confirmation code

Here are the following steps that you need to follow online to request a refund of your canceled flight –

First, go to the airline’s official site on your web browser.
Now search for their helping page.
You will find the submit ticket section, click on it, and press continue.
Fill in your last name and other flight details on the specific columns.
After following the online instructions, click on the submit button. Send your ticket so that the airline can initiate a refund.

Am I allowed to carry my infant on my lap during flight?

Children younger than 2 years old may travel on an adult’s lap (at least 15 years old) and are not required to have their own seat reserved.
Children younger than 2 years old who will be sitting in a car seat during the flight must have their own ticket and reserved seat.
Because one adult may travel with only one infant on lap, a second infant must travel in a car seat in a separate seat, and a ticket must be purchased.
Children who turn 2 years of age between the outbound and return flight must have their own ticket and a separate seat reserved for the return flight.
Children aged 2 years and older must have their own tickets and a separate seat reserved.
Spirit Airlines reserves the right to request documented proof of age for any passenger 2 years of age or younger. You must be prepared to provide documentation (such as the child’s birth certificate or passport) upon request.

Does Spirit Airlines allow pets onboard?

Spirit will only allow the following pets on the aircraft:

Domestic dogs
Domestic cats
Small household birds (except to / from Puerto Rico and the U.S.V.I. )
Small domestic rabbits (except to/from Puerto Rico and U.S.V.I)

Pets in Cargo Compartment
Spirit Airlines does not transport pets in Cargo at any time.

International Travel
Spirit Airlines does not accept animals on international flights, except in the case of service animals. Depending on the international destination, specific documentation regarding the service animal may be required. Please contact Spirit Guest Service and one of our agents will be happy to check destination regulations for you.

Security Screening
You will need to present the animal to the security checkpoint screeners for screening.

What are the size and weight limits for bags?

Personal item: (e.g., purse, small backpack, etc.): Dimensions must not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm) including handles and wheels.
Carry-on bag: Maximum of 22 x 18 x10 inches (56 x 46 x 25 cm) including handles and wheels. We may require a carry-on bag to travel as a checked bag if it cannot be safely stowed on a particular flight.
Checked bags: Maximum of 62 linear inches (length + width + height; 158 cm) including handles and wheels and maximum of 40 pounds in weight (18.1 kg). Any bag that exceeds these dimensions or weight limit is considered oversized/overweight and has a corresponding charge. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bags that weigh more than 100 pounds (45 kg) or that measure more than 80 linear inches (203 cm) in overall dimensions.
